Description
"Upland" is a unique metaverse game that syncs with real-world properties and is characterized as a 2D metaverse rather than 3D. In this game, players can buy and sell virtual representations of real-world properties on a map, as well as trade NFTs. Operated by UplandMe, based in Silicon Valley, USA, the game was launched in January 2020.
◾️Game Content
Syncing with Real-world Properties: In Upland, the same maps as the real world are used, allowing players to buy and sell "virtual properties" that sync with real-world locations. Players can also build houses and other structures on the properties they purchase.
Treasure Hunt: Upland features a "Treasure Hunt" mini-game where players move within the metaverse to find treasures.
Property Reselling: Properties that are famous, movie locations, or have notable buildings tend to increase in value.
Using Spark: Upland has a token called "Spark" which can be used to create in-game objects like buildings and vehicles.
External Tool Development: In Upland, players can also earn outside the game by developing external tools and generating revenue.
